Welcome to Weedons Country Club, Christchurch
The golf course is open.
Please note that in COVID 19 - Level Two the golf course will be open.
You will be required to check in when you arrive at the golf course using the government app - to enable contact tracing. Scan the QR code and turn on your bluetooth tracing.
When you finish your round of golf, wash and dry your hands.
The most important principle is to "play it safe" and remain physically distant from others.
Please do not use the drinking fountains, ball washers and do not touch the flagsticks on the greens.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE GOLF COURSE IF YOU ARE UNWELL.
Our club has a wonderful country reputation with a top 18 hole, par 73 golf course.
Tree lined fairways and many doglegs, the course challenges the best of golfers.
The golf course is situated 20 minutes south of the Christchurch Square, just off State Highway One.
It is well sign posted, turn right at Weedons Ross Road and we are on McCelland Road.
Green Fees
$20.00 if playing with a Weedons member.
$25.00 for NZ affiliated members.
$30.00 for non-affiliated players.
The club has trundlers, golf clubs and golf carts available to hire.
Bar and catering facilities are available if requested for group bookings.
Twilight Golf
Twilight golf will be starting on Thursday 8 October 2020.
Twilight golf is held during the period of daylight saving on Thursday evenings.
Tee off is between 3.00pm to 5.30pm.
13 holes are played, alternating the front and back nines weekly, plus 4 holes from the side not being used.
Stableford Competition.
Weedons Members entry fee $6.00, visitors entry fee $12.00.
Match of the Day prizes, Two's, Closest to the Pins and Longest Drive prizes and Lucky Card prizes.
The bar is open and evening meals are available to purchase from 5.30pm. Please note that last drinks will be served from the bar at 8.30pm.

Wednesday's and Saturday's, each week starting at 9.30am - new players are most welcome to come along and join in.
Tuesday Club
Stableford Competition.
9.30am multi tee start.
Weedons Members entry fee $6.00, visitors entry fee $12.00
Men - white tees, women - yellow tees.
Meat trays for the Match of the Day prizes.
Entry fee includes two's and Closest to the Pin prize.
Raffles.
Bar and café open at the conclusion of the game.

Junior Golfers
The club provides junior coaching held on Saturday afternoons.
During daylight saving these sessions are held at the golf course.
The winter coaching sessions are held on fortnightly intervals at the Riccarton Park Golf Complex Driving Range, with Wayne Davies from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
Loyalty Card
The Weedons Country Club has a Green Fee Loyalty Card.
"Play more, get more"
Pay for 4 green fee rounds and get the fifth round free.
Loyalty cards can be picked up from the shop.
